Haystack

I recently had the opportunity to attend Haystack Mountain School of Crafts in Deer Isle, Maine. The best way to describe it is as an artist retreat. Below are three gelatin prints I made from various materials including seaweed, string, bubble-wrap and corrugated cardboard. I also took a blacksmithing shop and made a bookend. Since I got back from Haystack I have been printing more gelatin prints. It’s addictive since the possibilities are endless and you don’t need a press. If you are interested in gelatin printmaking check Linda Germain’s website is a great resource. More posts to come soon!
