New Studio at Washington St. Art Center!

I recently moved my studio from Vernon St. to Washington Street Art Center in Somerville, MA. It was a difficult choice since I spent three years at Vernon St., made a lot of friends, and enjoyed working in an old mill building. Vernon was my re-entry into the art world and rediscovery of my artistic potential. In the end, the opportunity to be involved in a cooperative art center and have a room of my own was a huge draw. It is motivating and exciting to have a new space after being stuck at home all summer. I’m still setting up but here is a sneak peak.

Exquisite Corpse Exhibit Now Up!

I am excited to announce that my piece is now on view in The Exquisite Corpse collaborative show at the Inside Out Gallery in @davis_sq_somerville (the windows outside CVS). Huge thank you to @geismarart, @stepinhoney, @masscultural and @somervilleartscouncil for making this happen! The artwork of @vidiodo and Bethany Ericsson make up the figure I worked on. #exquisitecorpsesomerville #publicart #communityart #artbeat2020 #fun #somervillecreates #markers #chance

Missing Gelatin Print: Landscape I

I thought I would send out a note to the universe in hopes this print will materialize. It has disappeared from my possession sometime between January and March. Have you seen it? I may have left it in a library book, it could be under some papers, or mysteriously found another home. I do love this piece since it represents my discovery of gelatin printing at Haystack in 2013 and would love to get it back. I wonder how other artists feel and/or what they do when a piece disappears from their possession? How do you let go?
